PRODUCT — SPECIALTY BUSINESS CARDS
Cards with something to feel.
Raised foil you can feel with a thumb, painted edges, suede-soft lamination, pearl, kraft and thick layered stocks. Pick the card that fits the brand, and we will set up the file so every finish lands where it should.

When a standard card is not enough
A plain 16pt card is the right call for most people: it is sharp, it is quick, and it is cheap to reorder. A specialty card earns its price when the card is part of the pitch. Designers, salons, realtors, restaurants and anyone whose customers judge the work by how it looks and feels. Not sure which you need? Ask, and we will give you a straight answer.
The finishes
- Raised foil. Metallic foil over a raised layer, so the logo has height and shine. Gold and silver are the classics.
- Flat foil. The same metallic look without the height, for finer type and detail.
- Raised spot UV. A clear, raised gloss on just the parts you choose: the logo, a pattern, a line of type.
- Foil plus spot UV. Both on one card for the most contrast.
- Painted edge. Extra-thick stock with color on all four edges. Looks best when the edge color is pulled from the logo.
- Black edge. A layered card with a dark core that shows at the edge.
- Soft-touch suede. A velvety laminate that feels expensive and resists scuffs.
- Pearl, silk, kraft and linen. Shimmer, smooth satin, natural brown and textured stocks.
- Plastic and durable synthetic. For cards that live in wallets, kitchens and toolboxes.
- Die-cut shapes, folded cards and magnets. Rounded and custom shapes, a fold that doubles the space, or a card that sticks to the fridge.

Getting the file right
Foil and spot UV print from a separate layer in the file that marks exactly where the effect goes. Most people do not have that file, and that is fine: we build it from your logo and send a proof that shows each finish before anything runs. Hairlines and very small type can fill in under foil, so we flag anything too delicate before it goes to press.
