Pick the format by the job
- Flyers are one sheet, one message: an event, a sale, a menu, a new service. Printed on one side or both.
- Sell sheets are the flyer’s serious cousin: specs, photos and a contact, built to leave behind after a meeting.
- Brochures fold, so they can tell a story in order: what you do, how it works, why you, how to reach you.
- Mailed flyers and brochures can go out by Every Door Direct Mail or to an addressed list. See postcards & EDDM.

Folds
Half-fold, tri-fold and Z-fold cover most jobs. Specialty folds, like the double parallel fold we used for the Columbus ArborFest program, open up more panels for a map, a schedule or a full menu.

Questions people ask
Gloss or matte?
Gloss makes photos pop. Matte is easier to read under bright lights and easier to write on. For text-heavy pieces, choose matte.
How many panels does a tri-fold have?
Six: three on each side of an 8.5 × 11 in. sheet. One is the front cover, so plan for a cover and five panels of content.
Can you mail them?
Yes. Flyers and folded brochures can go out by EDDM or to an addressed list. Postage and mail prep are quoted separately.
Do you have a template?
There is an 8.5 × 11 in. flyer template with bleed on the print templates page. For folded brochures, ask and we will set up the panels for you.
